I Have no idea i changed my alternator now suddenly i have white smoke just rolling out as soon as i start the motor Very Very Badly Too Cant Even See behind the car!?? i have no idea car has NEVER smoked before not even a little bit if anyone has even a lil help it would be greatly appreciated-- for the record 1997 Plymouth Neon MT SOHC

 

You *only* changed the alternator?

 

White smoke is usually a bad/blown headgasket.

 

yes i know that it idicates a bad head gasket ive thought and thought i jus dont know when i pulled out after finishing the alternator i dont remember smoke but once i got to the road i chirped the tires a lil bit then i seen the smoke so thats when it might have happened i dont know i just put this damn head gasket on 4 months ago guess ill start tearing down today AGAIN thanx for the help fellas

 

if its bad already maybe u need to have the head milled
