Default dohc head on a sohc block?

Will this work. Put a dohc head on a sohc block? If so what do I have to change?

intake manifold
exhaust manifold
timing belt
thermostat housing(if the manifold doesnt come with it)
passenger motor mount bracket
timing belt cover(front and rear)
cam sensor
pistons/rods

should be it...unless you dont wanna modify the hood...then you need one of them too

You don't have to change the pistons, but it's a good idea.

I thought you did? doesnt the DOHC pistons have valve grooves in it? Isnt that important?

DOHC pistons do have the little seats in it, so i thought they did too.

Nope, you will just have lower compression.

Thats why some people will put a DOHC head on their SOHC and then put an SRT-4 turbo on. No adapter plate and then you can also port and polish the intake manifold. Plus the DOHC head flows much better than the SOHC. The DOHC pistons would make a noticable difference as well, but again not necessary.
