Default Help with Fan Issues

I have a 1998 Neon DOHC manual transmission. My engine fans stopped working unless they are hardwired. I had the temperature sensor changed out and the radiator changed out. My next thought is the actual computer. Any other ideas?

do the fans come on at all, even when trying to run the A/C or even the Heat ? if not then First try pulling the codes and see whats going on, if your relay is bad then it will pop up when you cycle on cycle off to get the codes. if the fan relay code doesnt pop up then check the fan fuse to see if its blown, if its not blown move on to the relay located on the drivers side wall under the battery towards the fender wall, square like object with two screws holding it in place which can be easily reached from the ground looking up and feeling for it, you can also get it from up top as well, but option one is just easier, if the fan relay isn't bad then the you could possible have a grounding problem which can be fixed once located by cleaning up the ground area using sandpaper or anything that can remove any build up or rust, the problem may just be the fan motor is burned out, Good Luck !!

it wouldnt be his grounds if he hotwires it and it works assuming by hot wiring he means just connecting the power wire so its prolly the really or a bad connection on the original power wire

Edit: posted after Fuzz but use a wire brush to clean the connections i find those work great when getting dirt an such off a bad ground or connection
