are thoughs throttle spacers worth it for the SOHC?

from taht dyno chart id assume just the TB spacer adds about 2/3 hp
a little noticable...

 

If it added 3HP for $30 thats 1HP for every $10 spent, not a bad ratio!

you dont even wanna know what we did to this poor car

well we rigged up some quick nitrous with a 100HP jet, managed to race a tsi talon and beat it till the plastic intake blew apart when it shifted into 3rd gear, fixed that after i trailered it home, went & tried again, sprayed it right as i floored it, tires went up in smoke pretty good & gave it a run to about 90 mph - 3rd time of that i heard alot of engine noise - the trans shuddered really bad then a loud bang & it was done - it hit the rev limiter & backfired again blowing apart plastic intake #2 & almost a big fire when it tore the plastic fuel line, lol, by the way the engine sounded on the last run i think its done for, but it was fun as hell, im already workin on pullin the motor & trans, SOHC going back in with a 5 speed from a DOHC with the lower gearing
that engine was knockin for a month so i figured i'd finish it off right
all that work just to sprayit 3 times & kill it, lol, i'll keep the nitrous setup, but take it down to a 25 HP shot
moral of the story neons dont like way too much nitrous
