Default stupid dealership and banks

well we might be getting back our neon and jeep tomorrow.....the dealership said they had everything figured out on friday and that they were gonna let us take the pt cruiser with deal plates on it, then to just come in monday and sign all the paperwork.....well, we went in there today and the sales guy told us that the bank messed sumthing up so now they want another $500.00 down....and since im only 21 and my wife is 19, they said we dont have enough time on our credit.......well, it was hard enough comming up with the 500 in the first place, but now they want another 500......so we gave them the first 500 and they said to stop back tomorrow and they will let us know.....this is just stupid.....but atleast ive been spinning the tires on it, and since friday the wife put about 900 miles on it driving it for work....so atleast we are getting to enjoy it....to bad it might be over soon....but then atleast we can save up some more and i can get the neon running better and go try sumwhere else, then maybe we can find a GT turbo......and i can get the turbo for my car a little sooner then i though

dealerships/banks suck.....especially since we make about $4600.00 a month combined and still cant get a loan for a $9,000 car[:@]

Never commit your entire deposit to a Dealership - they will always test your ability to cover last minute expenses

If you only have $500 total to put down on a car - tell the dealership you only have $250.00 - they will always come back at the last minute and ask for more to see if you are over commiting yourself and be able to handle last minute expenses!

we are trying to get a 2001 PT Cruiser limited edition...fully loaded and only 50,000 miles.....

well they said that we should only need a 500.00 downpayment in the first place.....we bought my durango through this dealer and salesman, so he has been pretty cool through all this....and at this point we dont really care if they say we cant get it or not....if we go in there tomorrow and they say anything other then "sign here" we are just gonna take our cars back.... though the wife really likes driving the new car......atleast when they get it back its gonna have a little over 1000 miles extra on it

i will let everyone know how it goes tomorrow afternoon when we find out

well we went to the dealership with all intentions to just give the PT back and just take back the jeep......

so we ended up walkin out with the PT.....traded the jeep and neon, $500.00 cash down, they paid off the $1200.00 we owed on a loan we used the jeep for a colateral, and only $244.00 a month for 4 years....so we are happy...it all worked out
