well getting all the parts for my tubo kit is comming along pretty good...
i got my SRT-4 boost gauge yesterday and my SRT-4 intercooler today.....later tonite im going to order the hot/cold side intercooler pipes and the SRT-4 downpipe.....so there isnt much more to go until i can get the kit on the car....

this is a good and fairly cheap turbo kit for any one wanting to turbo a DOHC neon....

so far i have/ have to order

stock srt-4 turbo/manifold
srt o2 housing
mopar BOV conversion plate
stock srt-4 intercooler
stock srt-4 boost gauge
stock srt-4 hot/cold side pipes
stock srt-4 downpipe

total spent thus far: $390.00

i still have to order my boost controller, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, map clamp, clutch, intercooler piping kit

 

howbout some pics as your putting it all together,

 

o i plan on it....monday i should be ordering the rest of my gauges, FPR, maybe boost controller, and the rest of the parts for my nitrous kit

 

lol your engines gonna end up like mine, i'd like to do the srt-4 swap in mine but i need a newer truck first

 

i would like to do the whole srt4 swap but with 2 car payments and plans on trying to get a house by spring, its kinda hard to come up with the money....and i cant save at all...since there is always sumthing that i want.......so the srt4 parts will have to do for now, then when the time comes i can just get a 2.4 and put the srt internals in it....

but my stock motor is just gonna be used to run low boost for a while anyways

 

It works on the SOHC also, just need the adapter.

 

seeing how stock internals can only handle 5-7 psi wouldnt one of the ebay special turbos work fine?

 

Which special? Almost any turbo will fit, you just need to have an adapter made to fit. The SRT-4 turbo bolts right up to the DOHC engine.

 

with the srt-4 one will u need the exhaust manifold also or is that what the addapter is for. and about how much do those run

and which special? the one that is only 450 that comes with an intercooler and piping lol but no manifold

 

The SRT-4 turbo and manifold are one piece and bolt up to the DOHC. The adapter is if you want to bolt it up to a SOHC like me
