Push Button Starter Installation
thats what it looked like before it got raced & still had the auto trans
hooking up the ign. switch & push button is pretty easy IF you can get to the wires, obviously it was easy in mine with no dash and a ball of 500 wires i had to trace through to get evrything to work again[:'(]

Hey! I gots me one of them there fancy push button starters too! LOL
Black button on the right side of the dash. Ignition and fuel pump are the red and blue toggles and just through the steering wheel you can see the battery disconnect on the left of the cockpit.

I bought a 91 that had a remote starter switch and i don't know why it was done. i'd like to have the key start the truck if possible. so why do people do this? is it likely that something is wrong inside the steering column and made wiring a switch the better fix option or what? thanks
