Default engine conversion!!!

hi im in AUS and most if not all of you are in USA but that does'nt matter
i'de like to know if a mitsubishi evo engine goes into a 97 neon i've been
told they bolt straight in, and more.....

You were lied to buddy. It will not just bolt in and would take some extreme fabbing to get it to run correctly. It has the 4g63 engine in there which has NOTHING in common with the DOHC engine in the neon and no the DOHC neon engine is NOT a 420a engine.
