Default A couple questions

I just bought an engine from the junkyard. I appears to have a mls hg, and seems to be in good shape. The timing belt looks brand new, but im not sure. It is a goodyear gatorback belt, and i would like to know if i need to replace it, i would rather spend the $50 on something else. It still has writing on the belt, and their are no cracks or fryed ends whats-so-ever. Should i replace it or not. Also i need new belts, are duralast ok, i have valuecraft, but they look cheap so im going to return them.

Do the belt tensioner, belt, and water pump. You will thank yourself in the long run. Trust me.

A blow up engine is more costly then a little preventative maintanence.

Gatorback belts are REAL quality belts. I'd probably change the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner pulley just to be safe.
