My Neon has no fire
well Im plaining on checking the ignition switch and Im going to replace the wires going to the crank senser to make sure that theres no problem there.I'll let you know what comes out of that.
ok...I have rewired the crank senser and nothing come out of that...but I was reading in ALLDATA and it said that aftere replacing the timing belt that I have to hook a scaner to it and tell the computer to relearn the crank and cam posision.Has anyone heard of having to do that?
thats what i thought... I have never heard of that. Im going to put a 3rd crank sencer in and see if the part store that I got the 2 first ones from just got a bad bunch. But I was thinking that it might be the crank its self. I have tested the coil and its good, plug wires and plugs are also good...It has to be the crank sencer.Ill let you know what I come up with.
Well I finally took the valve cover back off and found that when I started the car the first time aftere putting it back together that when it ran for that few minutes that it bent some of the valves. They must have been bent a lil and wasnt able to see it.But I put another head on and the car runs great.
