Default oh no....

um yea i cant figure out how to get the CAI in front of the radiator...i cant find any spot where it could fit... HELP??? lol um also i just read the "how to" on making it...and the guy from .org said to use 2.5in exhaust piping????

why are you going that way? have you trimmed down your battery tray any? you can put one in if you trim the tray and leave the filter in the battery or you could go spuds way and cut route it through the front of the car. do a search on intakes and spuds stuff should pop up. Good Luck !!!

i havent done anything yet... i was just looking for the route so that when i begin to cut i shall know everything that needs to be cut and so forth...and i thought the CAIs all went through Spuds way... now im getting a little confused...

lol sorry about the confusion, you can use 3.0 tubing you dont have to use the 2.5, yeah the good CAI are routed spuds way, if you duck down and look under the car right beside the radiator is a thin sheet of metal with a hole, its easy to cut with tin snips and is where some of the intake would curve out and have the filter at the end

what else would i need to duck it down Spuds way? i have the 3.0 tube, like 1.4 feet of 3 inch. exhuast, and the K&N filter... what else would i need?

mine is one of the only ones that go through the front.....for a homemade 3.0L intake you have to trim the front of the batery tray(where the clamp isthat holds down the battery) then the filter just sits down there below the battery(kinda like an iceman)....you have to put the pipe in there and then hook the filter on from underneath....

na i dont need anymore...i just joined the .org forum (finally got smart enough to use my parents email address lol) and they showed me a picture that it does go under the battery...and now it makes sense...they also said that if i have the rad. fan in the middle then i dont have to trim the tray... i like that idea... thanks though
