well i guess my tubo kit is gonna wait til early spring to get installed.....maybe around march...
i figure if i wait then i dont have to rush to get everything and get it done....then this way i can get my pistons and rods and just have the motor completely done internally and get it all swapped in.....then i can still drive the car in the mean time and have my other motor built............

besides winters here kinda suck and i would be pissed if i put the turbo on the car and then recked it in the snow...especially since i work before the snow plows are out and they dont plow until the snow completely stops....

this way i also have a few extra monthes to get the rods, pistons, clutch, new cv joints, new struts, drop springs, and all the machine work done to the block...
i just dont wanna put the turbo on the car and only run a few pounds of boost and still have to worry about blowing the motor since its got 145,000 miles.....if i wait til i get the motor built then i can start off with like 15pounds of boost and that will be alot of fun

and i still have to pay for my 93' dakota sport i got the other day and thats another 600 bucks....

anyways i just had to vent a little....sorry

Sorry to hear it won't be going on sooner, but I like the idea of building up the motor to handle more boost.

actually i hate to burst your bubble, but me and the wife live with her parents...until spring atleast when we plan on buying a small farmette.....the wife is kinda afraid to fly the coop so we are just waiting til we find the perfect place so we dont have to move a bunch of times.....plus i want to get all my goodies before we have to pay for a house and i can afford anything....

me and the wife deliver newspapers for a living...but every month we pay,
durango payment: 326.00
pt cruiser payment: 244.00
car insurance: 350.00
cell phones: 115.00
insight: 90.00
rent: 300.00
gas money for cars for work: 1700.00
bored for the wifes horse: 100.00
sun loan company: 225.00(took out a loan for the downpayment for my durango)

plus i still owe my grandparents 4,000 for my red r/t....(they gave me a loan)
and i owe 600.00 for my 93' dakota....(wifes winter truck)
and we have 4 credit cards that we owe on

i have a problem that everything i see, i want
and the wifes aunt still owes me 2600.00 for the mercedes i sold them that they havent been paying for....

so anyways, i have alot of money that goes out every month.....so i just have to take it as it comes....

but i have been thinkin that i might just throw the turbo on the car anyways.....i guess that i will just decide when the time comes, if i dont have all the parts, then i cant put the turbo on[&:]...i dont care what its gonna take, the turbo is goin on the car soon...besides, i just remembered that christmas is cumming up and we get alot of christmas tips from the people we deliver to....the tips usually average about $4,000.....so, now that i think of it, my car WILL be done by atleast january....motor and all
