RE: CAI is DONE!
so clamp it....tell them that you want the pipe to be 6inches shorter then the stock cat. pipe...then....cut off the end of the cat that has the flange....get a 4inch piece of pipe that has the same inner diameter as the outter diameter of the new pipe...then just clamp the flange piece and the new pipe together using the 4 inch piece as a sleeve.....then do the same for the other end...
or just go out and get a high flow cat/resonator off of ebay for about 60.00

Looks good man! Yeah, I have my CAI sitting about an inch lower than that.. if you stand back about 10 feet from the car, you can see 1/2 the filter... I've not had any problem with mine. I actually slapped it on there when we had those horrible rainfalls a few months back.. Drove through water-covered roads, no problems.. I would imagine you need to have like the entire filter emerged in water before you run into problems.. Thats why AEM makes the bypass valve for that type of thing.. so if the filter *does* become emerged, its damn near impossible for the water to get past that valve.. None the less, looks good and I might acutually think about doing that with mine so I can put a hood prop back on there! Haha..
