so someone took my stock radio, and cut the harness

oh well i have a deck to toss in, now since i dont have the option to buy a harness, i was planning on jsut hardwiring it in

only problem NONE of the colors match...

is there a diagram that i can get the wiring colors and match them up with the ones from the deck?

 

Try Haynes or Chilton's, you might be able to still work something out with what you have now. just depends on how much of that part of the harness is left and how far you feel like tracing wires.

 

problem with that is that are more wires from the neon harness then going to my deck...

 

If you get a Haynes or Chilton, it should have wiring diagrams and tell you what wire is what. Then just match them up with the one on the harness for the stereo. It'll be time consuming - for sure

 

ive got an old neon dash wireing harness sitting in the garage...if i remember in a while i will check it and post whats what

 

well i couldnt find the black speaker clip, but i found the grey power one....
there are a few wires that erent needed because they are iluminator wires(which never work on aftermarket stereos)

pink--------------------------constant power(yellow)
red/white--------------------ignition(red)
blue/red---------------------right front neg.(grey/black)
brown/red-------------------left front neg.(white/black)
