engine swap gen1 to gen2
Help! I have a 96 neon with the SOHC and auto, my son ran it out of oil and blew the engine. I found an engine/trans out of a 2000. Does anyone know if i can use this combo. Any guidance would be appreciated!

It will swap, but if the tranny is an auto 4-speed, then you can't use it. Most of the sensors should fit the harness but you may have to cut and splice some wires together. It would be easier to use a 97-99 engine.
