I'M SO FED UP WITH THIS THING!
Ahhhhhh im so sick of my fricken 95.... I can't figure out what the hells wrong with it.... it's just a piece of ****... but i'm thinkin it might be my ECU now....idk do ecu's go bad??? And do they still run when the ECU is bad??? Is that a common problem??? Cuz ok... i'll start from the beginning.... the first day i got my neon driving it home from the dealership... my clutch literally disinegrates at 120mph.... So i get that in and i end up pulling the tranny 4 more times because we couldnt figure out what this racket was comming from the belhousing... here it was a piece of metal from the clutch b4 that was stuck between the bellhousing and the flywheel... Anyways get that fixed then my tranny was leakin tranny fluid from the inside of the belhousing.... pull it off again and here a pinhole was in it from the clutch exploding.... so i get that welded and like a week later my timing belt tensioner pulley and idler pulley disinegrate... put a new timing belt and pulleys in and it runs... but really rough... and sometimes when ur cruising and shift down and step on it it goes like crazy...and then sometimes it's just doggy.... i replaced the camshaft sensor and now i'm getting a code 54...well the camshaft sensor was off a running motor... but it doesnt run any different... i'm also getting a code 21 AND a code 11!!! And the timing is dead on.... trust me thats noit the problem... all the marks are lined up... What are the signs of a crankshaft sensor going bad??? My car idles extremely rough... and doesnt have the power it used to when it ran good. i got my fuel pressure tested and that checked out at 52lbs....So i know that's fine.... I'm jus getting so fricken sick of this thing if it aint one thing it's another... now it says i have a bad 02 sensor... and AHHHHHH if anyone could advise me on some help that would be greatly appreciated because i'm this far away from dumping 5 gallons of diesel fuel on it and lightin it up n makin' smores!!!..... or.... i could fill the inside of the car with propane and put a long *** fuse on the bitch!!! YEAH...THAT'LL DO IT! Or i could put a tank of Acetalyne inside the car.... open the valve... and SHOOT IT...YEAH!!! heheh... just kidding... i love my neon... but i want it to run!!!!!! Awesome like it did before!!! [X(]

I also have my EGR blocked off... the whole assembly is still on... but between the EGR and the head i have a plate inside it... and everything's still hooked up the sensor and everything... i don't have a code...but would that cause a problem since i don't have a resistor in the EGR plugin to trick the computer??? I also have replaced sparkplug wires...sparkplugs, with platinum plugs but i didn't klnow about the platinums until after i installed, swapped coil packs. I'm also wondering if it could possibly be the IAC motor or the TPS ????????? Thanks
Easy man...easy!
I'd start by changing the plugs with the cheap stock Champion plugs. The Code 21 would be either your upstream or downstream O2 sensor, probably the upstream sensor though. Take off your TB and clean it up along with the IAC and TPS with some sensor safe cleaner.

I agree with Das.. sounds like you need to clean your baby out.. Get some seafoam, follow the directions on the can. That will help clean stuff up. If you get the DeepCreep (Seafoam in a pressurized can) you can clean the TB with that, along with the IAC and TPS. That will help clean out the system. Also, like Das said, check your O2 sensors. Check the connections too! I had the sensor by the cat end up "going out" but I found out it was a chop job on repairing the connector. It works great now that I fixed it! Just look for defects in the wire etc.
an 02 sensor code doesnt always mean the O2 is bad, if a car runs extremely rich or lean it will throw the o2 code because its way out of "normal" range, seafoam isnt gonna help him much, it ran fine before the timing **** came apart, the motor holds compression so it cant have bent valves, have you pulled the crank sensor yet? i agree on trying cheap champion plugs- them platinums run great on some things, and make others barely run at all, i still dont get the code 11 unless it jumped on startup somehow
