Default Dying and Oil Light

I have a 1997 dodge neon HS DOHC So far i have had the power steering pump replaced, head gasket done, and valve cover o rings replaced. Then of course the standard tune up and wire replacement. Right now im having a problem with the car dying at an idel 2 or 3 times a day and sometimes i'll start it and it will die right away and it does this a couple times before it finally decides to run right. Usually this happens when the car is warm. Also when its getting ready to die it will run rough almost like its not getting enough fuel. The other problem im having is my oil light keeps coming on. I just had the oil changed in the car 2 days ago and it didnt stop the light from coming on. sometimes the light comes on right away other times it take 15 to 20 minutes before it comes on. Im almost afraid to drive it b/c i dont want to blow my motor. I love my little neon (rimiku) not to mention i've only had the car since february.

Sounds electrical. I live on a hill with a stop sign on the bottom, I used to stall out at the bottom until one day the car didn't start at the bottom again...

Had to replace starter motor. (As an aside, it stalled today...now I'm terrified I'll have to replace the starter again. :/)

When you say oil light comes on, how does your oil look?

The oil light could be a faulty oil sending unit switch that needs to be replaced...it's easy and simple.

Is your CEL on?

oil is great just had it changed the other day. looked pretty good before that but had boyfriend change it anyway but it was do. the CEL light comes on once in a blue moon but i think thats because my car doesnt have a cat-converter. i have a friend who has a 1998 neon SOHC and my boyfriend ended up replacing her oil sensor about a year ago. must be yet another neon trait. dont get me wrong i love my neon its like one of my kids lol but the repair bills are a little disheartening. neons are like the old ford escort GT's those who love them are devoted those who hate them, hate them.
