the only reason to use the manual k-member is for the rear bobble strut for the trans....but you dont really need it in the first place, its just kinda nice......but with solid mounts then you deffinately wouldnt need that little strut since the motor wouldnt move enough...
the bobble strut on my old r/t was so worn out that it didnt even work anymore, but it didnt really make a difference in the first place....
look at it this way, if you have ever looked under your car at the front mount, you will notice that the engine is only able to move so much, even if the front mount is completely worn out, it can only move about 3 inches.....which is about there the strut comes in
