Default That "breather" hose that connects to the factory intake

Thats just venting right? Its not neccesary to have hooked up? It used to be connected to the stock tube before the tb. It has positive pressure, so thats why I think its just a vent. Should I put one of those ricey filters on there?

edit: because my custom WAI is done

You need to have a breather filter on there. It sucks in filtered air, not vent.

IIRC, it vents at idle and sucks when you open the throttle.

where exactly does that tube hook up to? cause in my sisters car for the past like 2 or so years it hasn't been hooked up and its been fine...except when i went to switch intake tubes on it and the other tube came off with it...it was covered in think greasey oily substance...thought that was rather strange...

on a 95 one end goes to the intake tube and the other runs to the little black box under the intake manifold
