Tried to pop my dent but it's between the headlight and fender area. Can't really get to it quite well, unless perhaps I removed my bumper.

Removing the fender seems to be a last resort for me. Found directions here, but as you all said, it seems like a pile of work.

Thinkin' of trying the vaccum thing, but worried it might not work for semi-big dents. Any suggestions on which "system" works best?

 

Removing the fender isn't very difficult. I think you are making it sound harder than it is.

 

you dont have a suction cup somewhere to try?

 

Bought a Simoniz from Autozone, not sure if that's the suction system referenced in previous posts. Reviews on the web are mixed for it atm.

 

i dug through the halloween decorations and stole a suction cup from a ghost that hangs in the window

 

in some dent situations u can use a normal household plunger

 

My dent is over a quarter inch deep, maybe closer to half. Don't think a plunger will do it...some sort of hardcore Mario plunger maybe.

Taking the suction cup from another accessory might do the trick. The SIMONIZ thing is just glue, a suction cup and a support with thread. Put the suction cup in, prop it up, turn the screw and force the dent out.
