Default Please HELP!!!

I would like to know what exactly will I need to do to convert from SOHC to DOHC....I have the motor, the harness,and the computer...Do I need anything else that I'm not thinking of??? Please let me know before I begin the teardown...thanks..

I beleive I've heard you need the passenger motor mount, also...

complete motor(valve cover, intake manifold), harness, pcm, passenger motor mount bracket(though not needed if its a complete motor because it should come with it), plastic fuel line that goes from by the firewall to the rail, upper radiator hose, egr tube(if not included with the motor), and power bulge hood(unless you want to do sum cutting on the sohc hood......you would need the exhaust manifold but you said you have one, and thermostat housing(but should be included with motor)

Thanks spuds!!!! I have a bulge hood already also...so I just need the mount and the upper rad hose...But does that rad hose still hook up to the SOHC rad??? I don't have to get a different rad do I??? thanks for the reply..

no you CAN use the sohc radiator...the hose is just a different length and thats why it needs to be changed.....

if the motor comes with the passenger mounting bracket then thats all you need....the sohc mount will work on a dohc
