Needless to say, I need to replace a clutch now... Luckily thats all it was... Anyone have pointers on replacing them? Info would be greatly appreciated!

 

Was it an LS1 camero? anyways Now would be a great time to slap in a performance clutch for your RT maybe a short shifter too.mmm maybe someone has a PT cruiser clutch for sale.

Hmmm glad you guys suggested that! Haha, no not the Z28.. im not retarded... well.. maybe I am considering how I blew the clutch...

I think I will go with the P/T clutch.. about the same price as the stock and I am sure its much stronger!! Anyone have suggestions on getting the nut off the driveshaft where its at the rotor? Its being a royal PITA... and I have freakin' clutch dust in my skin! Worse than fiberglass.....

 

Aight guys.. I am in a dilema here.. I need to haev the clutch replaced by tomarrow! So I cant have a clutch shipped! I found a few clutches locally, tell me what you guys think would be the best.... and whether they will work for me or not!

i would get the PT clutch from autozone
the other ones dont state if the are a modular or not????....dont forget you need a modular, unless you have a non-modular flywheel from a 95 neon laying around

I just went to Advance and bought their clutch for the neon since no-one had the PT in stock... 269 or something like that... but I STILL cant get that nut off the end of the driveshaft!! I've now bent a huge screwdriver, a wrench and a freakin ratchet!! Im getting my buddy now, he does work on semis, to get me some of his BFTs (Big #$*%ing Tools) hoping we can bust that thing loose.. But the brand I bought was Precision I beleive...
