How to take off the letters on the back of a neon
ORIGINAL: FastNeon84
Use a razor blade to get the letters off and some real fine sandpaper to take the adhesive off of your car, preferably 800-1200 grit.

if u want to keep the paint on, use real fine sandpaper, at least 1000 grit, the paint will still be there but its a chance u might take some of the clear coat off...just do it carefully
yeah i just pull the letters off with a pair of needle nose pliers.....then rub off the adhesive with goo-gone......then atleast you dont have to worry about possibly messing up the paint

To make it easier you must have a heat source. It heats up the glue that on the sticker, for easy removal. I used a hair dryer, and just picked it with my finger. I was done in 10min, for both the NEON sticker and the DODGE sticker on the trunk
As for the residue it leaves, just use OOPS!! or GOO GONE, it doesnt harm the paint at all.
