i email aeromotive last nite and this is what they sent back....
Spud,

Ordinarily, in a high flow EFI fuel system, designed for performance, the fuel flow is from the fuel pump to the fuel rail first, in one end and then out the other into the regulator (that would be into the side port), then out the bottom of the regulator, returning to the fuel tank.

In the event that you don’t want to flow through the fuel rail, then to the regulator, you will have to either purchase a 13109 or a 13101 regulator and use one of the side inlet ports as an outlet, or you’ll need to purchase a T fitting, installed in the line going into the fuel rail, and coming off of the T and into the 13105 regulator on the side port and out the bottom back to the tank.

Hope this helps, good luck and thanks for choosing Aeromotive!

so i put the regulator on after the fuel rail?????? i thought it would go on before????

The test port can be used as your return line.

the guy down the street told me to keep the fuel feed line from the pump going to the fuel rail....then use the port on the front of the rail and hook it to the feed port on the regulator.....then run the return from the regulator to the fuel tank....

i guess(from what he said) the regulator can go after the rail because that how it regulates the pressure....by how much it can return to the tank

either way, he is gonna help me with any problems that i have and he is ordering the parts for the spoolboy mod for the fuel pump...then he is gonna install it all so hopefully i can have this thing redy to go by mid next week
