Default HELP!!! I need help to go to work tomorrow!

Ok everyone, I have a 1997 Neon 4 door. I recently had my passenger window broken and now I'm replacing it. But I seem to be have a really bad time at getting the handle for moving the window, off... It seems to just pull off, but I can't get it off. PLEASE HELP!!! I need to be in at work by 9 tomorrow morning and need my window because it's been raining all day and is going to keep on through tomorrow.

There's a C clip on the window handle (looks more like an Omega symbol, actually)

Haynes suggests doing the shop cloth trick.

Get a cloth and get it in between the plastic "collar" and the handle itself, getting the cloth in "from below", then pull towards the upper right or upper left in a deft motion when you apply enough pressure (dont try pulling up, the metal rod ain't coming out, try and slide it towards upper left or upper right really quickly). Ideally if you got it in close and then yank in that direction it'll catch on the clip and yank it out. It'll go flying out...it's gold colored. I didn't quite understand what they meant the first time around, but I got it out the second try on my Neon.

Edit: For your window, I suggest getting a plastic bag or sheet of some sort and duct-taping it over.

In any case, once you pop the window off get a torx wrench and unscrew the screw in the vicinity of the door latch mechanism Use arm strength and pop the side panel off (use a flathead or a letter opener to get initial leverage, then pop the sucker off). Undo the mechanism that connects the opening mechanism...pop something to the side and lift out.

Peel away your nice mopar sound insulation. Lower the window to access the connectors that tighten the window...I believe there are two on the "rear" next to each other and one forward. Go to myneonspeed for a gander at the pictures, or check a Haynes/FSM.
