hey there this will be my first neon and i am curious if it is a good deal. 95 neon r/t (i think) 5 spd with a new paint job and 169k for $2400 canadian. What do you guys think?

no i never thought to but i did have my phone on me so i should have[:@] but the body is perfect no cracks in the windshield or anyting like that.

 

I dont think its an R/T, R/T was only made in 98 and 99 if I recall correctly...

 

yea they only made r/ts in 98 nad 99

 

sweet deal... i picked up my neon 95 for 600$..

 

You need to look for a few things. Search about the Forum about problems with early year neons... One major one is the headgasket.. if it hasnt been replaced, it will need to be... and if it has, make sure its been replaced w/ MLS gaskets, Also, when was the last time the water pump and timing belt was changed?

 

yea smart thing to do...my timing belt popped at about 125k miles and had to replace my head cause it bent my valves
