anyway I would try higher octane just to see if its detonation. hopefully its nothin big. would you no where its comin from? bottom end or top? around wat cylinder? mite also b piston slap? could b a few things. good luck diagnosin that

there are SOOOO many things it COULD be, I would just take it to a mechanic, they do this everyday. This sounds like of of those deals where you could spend $1000 looking for a $25 problem...just take it to the professionals this time!
