weight reduction...

Default weight reduction...

ok since the Neon is already light... how much weight would u loose by taking out the interior, AC, ABS, and the radio?

interior - 34 lbs (back seat) & 35 lbs (passenger seat)
AC - 40 lbs.
ABS - ????
Radio - 4 lbs

i dont think it would be worth not having any interior.......but then if the car is gonna be gutted for race purposes

off topic but what type of suspension does the 95 Sport sedan model have?

while you are at it....take out the headliner, center console, door panels, glove box, and dash trim......that will loose a few more pounds....and if your gonna be drag racing it, then take out the front metal bumper...make 2 metal brackets and weld them to the radiator support and reinstall the plastic bumper cover....same with the back

wont be drag racing thats no fun lol... i'm planning on racing in the SCCA E-production (maybe) which allows the interior and ac and such to be taken out so yea lol

i had the interior ripped out of y blue r/t for along time.....but the ride was quieter when it was all in
