Most people do not know::: that on newer cars they can go to any Dealerships parts department for the make of their car and for around $5 you can get a key cut to let you in. It will not start your car. You will need your VIN and Id. Simple Solution!!!

well just do what i did, since i have a second gen neon i have those damned chipped keys, so i went and had a cheap spare made "non chipped" and bought a magnetic hide a key box and hid it under the front bumper cover, that way it will open my doors but it wont start my car, so now i dont have to worrie about my butt hitting the lock button when i am vacuuming out the car and not hear it and shut the door, and be locked out at a carwash with my phone in the car.
