ebay coilovers
i bought some ebay coilovers last week, i wasnt impressed on the kit, the collar that adjust the ride hight was too tall.how rude. it made a hell ov a sound when i hit a bump. had to break out the grinder to getem off, the only thing i could use from the kit were the springs. which work good for what i wanted them for, but its still not low enough, it dropped it about 2 inches, i was hoping for 4, oh yeah and the spring toppers couldent use them either.well now there history
anyone know a good set of coilovers?

if you use the stock struts then you can for a little while....but im not sure about a real time frame....if you had good aftermarket sturts then you shouldnt have to worry at all about needing new ones

how long can you ride on just the lowering springs, before your going to need new struts and shocks?

my car came with them on it, the car just sat on the adjusters between the strut and plate, and the spring did nothing - i threw the adjusters in the corner and put just the springs in, they been in there ever since and its a little bouncy and bottoms out over big bumps, but its not all that bad of a ride, only problem i have is the front springs tend to stick and make it pull to one side or the other after a turn (i think part of the bearing plate is missing), so i have to grease them about once a month
AND you have to readjust the rear camber or it eats the inside of the tires, it puts about 5-6 degrees in lowering it that far
