I was just woderign if you needed to get a hub adapter if you want to put a racing steering wheel in your car or is there a quik way of gettign around it.

Yes you will need an adapter for most aftermarket steering wheels. I don't know of any off hand that doesn't require it.

 

I have a book that says that a S-10 adapter kit will work. I don't know if it is true or not but I got the information from the "High-Performance Dodge Neon Builders Handbook" You could probably find the Chevy S-10 kit easier than you could a Dodge Neon.

 

i wanna put the srt4 steering wheel on my car....but the guy down the street from me has it on his and i dont wanna copy him

 

yea i heard the same thing too about the s10 adapter working on a neon..

 

Shouldn't matter...it's not like he's the only one with it.

 

i know...but there are alot of things that he was planning on doing to his car that i beat him too...(srt turbo) and i dont rreally like copying people that atleast live in the same town

 

I would only view it as copying if you saw his and then wanted to do it to your car, even then...who cares.

 

its just that i dont like having the same as everyone else......
thats why i got a neon in the first place instead of a civic
