That's really low miles, but it's still an 8 year old car, meaning it's not worth $6400, that same amount of money could get you a kia with a 100k/10yr warranty. My girl and I picked up a 97 DOHC 2dr 5sp for only $1400 (minor problems, changed out the O2 sensors, needs pwr steering belt tensioner, been in a wreck, airbags popped, but still, got it for $5k less than that guys asking for his.)

n doubt it looks clean and nice and all, but really thats alot of mod money going down the drain. you will kick yourself when you make that first payment and realize you could have gotten a $115 payment for my 98 R/T(est. I paid cash for it) versus a $200 payment for a Sport...no matter how you look at it it just does not make sense. No bank will go more then 36 months on a loan for a 98 anything. Just trying to help you out man.

there are alot of things that arent considered here.....maybe he doesnt want an r/t??????
maybe this car is just what he wants....
i paid 6200 for my 98 r/t about a year and a half ago and it had 76000 or so miles on it......the car has proven to be worth every penny so far...even thought it has no power options and was a pretty plain car.....but i wanted it and thats all there was too it....
if you own an r/t then you might be paying higher insurance too.....i pay 126.00 a month for full coverage because my insurance company considers the r/t's to be sports cars.....my old sport ran me almost 50.00 cheaper a month

Thats interesting, especially considering it's the same engine.

i dont understand why the r/t would be considered a sports car and cost so much more....but i wish it wouldnt.....

i actually pay almost $20.00 more for insurance on the r/t then i do on the durango or pt cruiser
