why do they sell egr block off plates if they do nothing

i have a 96 sport coupe. i was planning on putting a supercharged 2.4 in and having it bored over to a 2.5... would it be better to keep it an atx or change it to a mtx?

also has ne 1 found 4 speed auto

 

They don't do anything for performance, but the do keep your TB and manifold cleaner.

There aren't any superchargers for the neon.

4 speed doesn't work in the small neon engine bay...it won't fit and it overheats.
