all i can say is wow! deff a great project and some very kick as fabrication... can't wait to see the it finished and to see how fast it is lol...

My brother took his welder back for a few days, so i have some spare time. figured i would take apart the chassis from the sub frames and get it prepped for the final leg of the tubing build. i have a few more welds to do on the whole thing, along with a few smaller gussets here and there, and two small braces behind the seat bar, but other than that, and the core support, this is what she will look like in skeleton form. i am going to media blast and sand the whole thing down, wipe it with paint thinner, and paint it the aluminum silver color you see in some of the pics below.

shoot, haven't updated this for a long time. tubing is finished up, engine ect is in, body is back on. we are in the process of buying a house, so car is on hold until we close and move. bigger garage yay!

 

I just read the whole thread from beginning to end. Wow is all I can say! PLEASE post the final results of this. Wow is all I can say! I would love to be able to have the time and money to do this kind of thing ALL time time, but I'll just live vicariously through you for now.....
