i am only doing this to ruin some dohc guys days! that, and to be the fastest sohc neon in idaho.
what did you use to paint the engien bay with i think you said you used fire place paint did you have to sand it all down or did you just tape off every thing and then painted hope you can help me im going to paint my car later on but sence i have the motor out now i might as well do the bay now thanks
perssure washed it, degreaser, then washed it again. this is not the permanent setup, so i have another shot at painting the engine bay again when my built motor goes in. i dodnt sand or prep really. it will get the full monty when i rebuild next winter.
will it be possible to move the car down the street and tern the wheals so i can presser wash and de grease it and you said that you used frieplace paint where can i get that at
yeah, i had the engine out of the car, made it quite easy to wash and paint. if your hubs are put back together, then you can move it all you want.
as far as the paint, just look in your phonebook for "fireplace retails and sales" any shop that sells fireplaces will have it. stove bright satin black is the brand and color, but they have a ton of colors!
