about the MSD Digital DIS-2...i basically want your guys opinion on it...are they an excelent source of hp and worth it? how easy is it to set them up? and are they universal on vehicles?

 

if oyu have a neon, you will need the tach adapter as well as the unit. the dis2 is universal, but the tach adapter is what makes it work on the neon. it wont give you hp per say, but will give you a greater spark, and control over your timing as well as rev limit when staging on the tree.

 

what are the advantages over just a msd coil? and is it easy to adjust/tune them by yourself?

 

msd coil packs are, in short, a red oem unit, lol. same output ect as oem. if you want an upgrade for a coil, the screamin demon coil IS an actual upgrade. i have it on my car, but i still see no effects from it except better fuel economy. now, when i get my turbo installed, this along with the other supporting mods and the msd dis2 system will make for one hell of a fun trip.
