I would have guessed you had messed with the Stroker Engine.
I'm all about the 2.0L

maybe the 2.4 one day!

Still trying to figure out how come I can run down most Neons in the Turns - but in the Straight aways they can pull a couple of car lenghts on me

I have a friend who races neons, and he has talked of using the 2.4 bottom end, and the 2.0 DOHC head, I dont know THAT much about motors and things of the sort, but he said hes done it.

What Kind of Racing does your friend do?

From what I hear - it would make for a good Drag Engine since they drive in straight line for a few seconds.

For Course Racing would not do so well is what I am hearing - I hear the 2.2 Bottom end runs out of power on the top side of the band.

the 2.2 works best when supported by a turbo.

Just my Luck - I can NOT run Turbo in my class of racing

I guess the Turbo makes up for the lack of HP on top end of the RPM range?
