Now i know that he already got his axle in, but just so anyone else is having this problem and needs some help i'll tell you guy's my little trick. it may seem crazy but i do this everyday (litterally). Use a big heavy rubber hammer. yep... thats it... of course u have to be carefull and u dont swing it like the hulk, hat would brake it. you set snap ring in place with grease if u want but i find it to be a waste of time. tapping while rotating is the trick.
