RE: Neon Power Potential
Okay guys. I dont drive a NEON. I drive a Z28. I only posted here to habe all yall reply so I could put a neon driver in his place. And for whoever posted it the SSs are not overated from the factory, they are underated. They are rated at 205 at the crank from Chevrolet but they are puttin down MORE than that top the wheels completely stock.
I am also not talking about an R/T neon im speaking of a non-R/T neon.
One more question what would a "tune" (as he put it) and full exhaust net you on a non-R/T neon.

RE: Neon Power Potential
noone said there overrated however horsepower is. my car is turbo much like a supercharger if you got a n/a neon anywhere close to me on hp it would thrash me. forced induction cars develop lots of power for short periods of time. i had my last n/a loss beat by over 100hp and still got beat. the cobalt ss is a hot lookin car but they run very close with r/t.
