Default quick question

I looked at the FAQ at the top and it wasnt there. Can 2nd gen neon lowering springs fit a 1st gen?[>:]

There just seems to be some great deals on the 2nd gen springs rather than 1st gen.

I wanted to try and get these springs

Yes they will work, but they won't lower your car but probably maintain the stock ride height.

But what if the drop is 2" will that at least lower my car an inch?

I just want a suttle drop, because I think the neon stock suspension is low enough, I just want to make it handle a lil better.

I don't remember the height of the 1st gen spring, but you could compare them if you knew.

I think I might go on and try it. I mean if I can get those springs for a fraction of the original cost, then why not. I think the worst that could happen is that Ill stay at stock height, oh well, at least Ill have newer springs

you could just try and find drop springs for your car....

2 inch 2nd gen springs should drop your car roughly about 1/2inch....maybe

if you do go ahead and get the springs, do us all a favor (please) and measure the stock ones compared to the replacements as well as tell us how it turns out. it would be greatly appreciated.
