cant get the window handle off!

RE: cant get the window handle off!
you take a washcloth....or shirt....or sum other thick cloth....
hold one corner of the rag in one hand and the opposite corner in the other hand....
slide the flat end of the rag between the handle and the little rubber washer(if its there) if not then between the handle and the panel...
then start sliding the rag back and forth...(like you are flossing) and work your way around the handle while pulling slightly towads you...
when the rag catches the end of the little clip, it will pull it right out...
just make sure not to use a good rag because you might end up shredding it a little bit

RE: cant get the window handle off!
I was just outside trying the wash cloth method and using the door panel remover screw. I tried both between the crank and the spacer and between the spacer and the door and I can't find that god damn clip. I don't see it in either side of the door either. I NEED HELP!

took me forever to find it...its between the spacer and the handle though...and its more like inside the handle...i had to get under the car to find it and then i had to use a thin, worned out wash cloth to get it...so try and find a cloth with lots of holes in it.

Nevermind. I finally got it off, but then I couldn't unclip a wireharness and get some metal rod connected to the door handle off. Then there was a sheet of some materal glued to the inside of the door covering it.
Needless to say I threw a screwdriver somewhere and lost it and kicked a big dent in the door. Anyone want to buy a 1999 sedan SOHC with 85,xxx miles?
I've had enough of this POS car.
