youve got the dohc 3.94 tranny if your revving that high.....it wont hurt the tranny any, but like you said, the gas milage kinda sux
the 3.55 tranny is better for gas milage.....though i hate the low revving of it...
if i wasnt worried about the turbo, i would throw my 3.94 back in the car[:@]

i like having the taller gears though....and there isnt any turbo lag as it is.....all i have to do is tap the gas and im at 5psi....
the 3.94 tranny will give you a higher rev when you driving.....but that also means that you will be under boost when your just driving at normal steady speeds
