i have a 95 neon highline sedan with a racing muffler and an AEM cold air intake. i get around 15-18mpg which is terrible. i should be getting around 35mpg or so i hear. does anyone have any suggestions to help me? and i have an automatic 3 speed transmission, no matter what temperature although it seems worse in the cold the transmission slips giong from first to second gear, i changes the tranny fluid and filter and put atf +III in it and a lucas oil anti slip additive and its still pretty bad. amy ideas?

 

how do u drive? and also sounds like your converter might be going. and also the autos. aren't the best trannys for fuel mileage...our auto only gets like 25MPG and we just very conservative.
