Something you might want to think about next time this happens is that if the cops did not get a tag number of your vehicle and after loosing sight of you and you changing the way your car looked (turning off yourunderbody lights), then they have to rely on bluffing you into admitting that you were the car they were looking for. A little tip about dealing with the Police. They bluff all the time, they rely on the fact that people like to talk and admit things. People feel like if they are truthful, then the cops will be easier on them. Don't count on it. They love it when they can get you to admit something. Its kind of a conquest with them. Or a game. Them against us, kind of thinking. If an Officer clocks you speeding and doesn't get a tag number or have some other way of positively identifying your car and he lost sight of you for a period of time, then don't admit to anything. They will flat *** lie to you to get what they want, so why can't you do the same thing to get away with something. It makes their job tons easier when you admitthings and from the looks of things, made your bank account a little lighter.

I just moved to a new town, waay out in country.I hit a deer about a week and a half ago.It broke my passenger headlight and marker light.I planned on getting it fixed within a cpl. days. However I got pulled ovr that night.I did'nt have proof of insurance so he nabbed me for that. Thanks to our **** governor granholm here in mich...you gotta pay an extra $400 over 2 yrs for no insurance.so that night sucked.....

Next night I get pulled over again, pretty close to same spot as night before...diff cop this time, and after I told him I got pulled over just last night...he let me go...

At this point I put a new bulb in my headlight, but since it was cracked from deer, it must have gotten moisture in there and caused bulb to go out again, cause the next night..I get pulled over ..YET AGAIN...
This time its a lady cop, I was being honest and I told her I had 1 beer 6 hrs ago, (her eyes lit up like a xmas tree)...cause I did at my dads for xmas....she came back after what seemed like 20 min and wrote me a repair and report for headlight.why did that take over 10 min???

My point is...Im pretty sick of cops at this point....I got a new headlight assmbly from junk yard, and got everything working...but all I think of cops at the momnt are people who are like an annoying lil bro or sister that always tells on you for anything.Cops in this town dont have anything better to do than to pull me over 3 times in 4 nights.? Im disgusted by it....maybe next time Ill punch it too :P

I can't hardly blame someone for wanting to run from the Police, but I highly suggest you don't. Most laws are making it very, very expensive to do that, and if you happen to hurt someone, then your screwed. That includes the cop chasing you. If he doesn't know how to drive and runs off the road trying to pursue you and gets killed, then guess who goes down for involuntary manslaughter. You, thats who. I suggest you just try to stay out of trouble and if you get caught doing something wrong, then take your lumps, but again, don't admit to anything. The U.S. Constitution is very clear on you having a write to remain silent. Try reading Miranda some time and you will see. You also have a right to not incriminate yourself. 5th amendment to the Constitution. If the cops want to get you, believe me they will, but by all means don't help them.

Fullbuilt, you are obviously an Officer of some sorts and you know what I am saying is true. Unless you haven't been at it very long, but in time you will see that what I am saying is right. Don't turn in your badge. (don't really think you were going to anyway) Just remember something. Don't get an attitude about your job. I really don't think you have because you wouldn't be here on this Forum. It is really easy to think people don't count and think that what you are doing is for some greater good, but is reality it isn't. What cops do is all about numbers and statistics. If you don't believe me then see if you can find even one police department that doesn't know exactly how many tickets were written this year by their Officers. Its all about statistics and making themselves look good. I know............i have been there and done that and am not very proud of some of the things I did.

in okinawa running from cops was easy. they drive these little vans that look like milk cartons and have 3 cyl. engines. we had this forum for drifters and racers out there, and the cops from the base there started using it to bust people.

They tried to get my friend on like a million things but because he was a civillian and only worked for a contractor on the base, they couldnt do anything to him. anyway they have these cameras on the streets there that take your picture and give you speeding tickets, but everybody knows where they are. one day my friend got his car going real fast... and then slid sideways under the camera, while my other friend attempted to stick his middle finger out the window at the camera. i dont know if the picture came out right... but i hope the cops got a nice close up of that.
