If you sucked in water, you might as well start looking for a new engine....

If you suck up enough water, the engine should bog down and die out on you. You should not attempt to restart the car. The best thing to do is, pull your spark plugs and then try cranking the car to shoot all the water out of it. Pull the intake manifold off, and drain water. Put in a new intake manifold gasket and new spark plugs. Drop the engine oil pan and replace the gasket and filter with new ones, put in fresh oil. Then try and crank the engine.

It should be OK, but you might wanna put some fresh fluids in it just to be safe.
