Default ACR for $400

I just wanted to share my joy with you all. I bought a 96 ACR Red Sedan for $400 back in November. The owner said that it wouldn't start and had a fuel leak and he didn't want to mess with it anymore. His HOA was also pressuring him to move the vehicle.

I bought it and towed it home and didn't have alot of time to mess with it because of the holidays. But I replaced the battery cables and it started right up. I drove it to the gas station and put some gas in it and drove it around, got it home and found the leak. A rubber plug on the fuel pump was cracked and leaking the gas out. Plugged it up and it's been running great.

I can't believe the luck...$400 and an ACR. The outside is in real good condition with no major dents or dings to speak of.

I hope it continues to bring me joy!

It was the wire that clips to the starter that was corroded through. Got that replaced and fired right up.

its a sharp looking car.....i need to find an auto neon for the wife for under $800.00
but all the ones i find are out east....none around me that would even be worth it[&:]

an old neon that i had, had the same starter wire problem that yours did...and it had the fuel leak too, i forgot what i used as the new cap, but i think it was just rigged on there
