I never really got to introduce myself but im Mike. From the pittsburgh area and i drive a white 97 neon 4dr only mod on the car is a 4 inch exhaust(ricey i know). My question is....there is a guy selling a 95 sohc neon...i want to know what parts can i rip from it and put into mine...my main concern is the engine and the tranny...both cars are auto(his and mine) and sohc's

 

just about everything. only thing that wont would be the sensors and i think the PCM. u can get the sensors to swap but u'll have to splice the wires and such and its a pain.

 

that 95 cam is a couple HP gain over yours. evrything is interchangeable BUT the head from a 95 must be used on a 95. bottom end as well.Has somethin do do with crankcase ventalation holes in a 95 head that werent on the 96+ and the blocks go the same way.
the PCM is different. evrything else will change over as far i i know.
