Default Neon sputters and very rough idle

I have a 95 dodge neon. Power steering has been making noise and car has been stalling on turns at low speeds.Key code said power steering pressure switch. Yesterday I started the car and it idled so rough it shook me in my seat. So I figured I had to replace the power steering pressure switch that I had been lazy about. It is replaced as of today (with the help of this forum, Thank you)but the car still idles so rough and drives like is only running on a few cylinders. It just sputters and feels like it is going to die at stop lights.I had a tune up done about a month ago and they did the basics.
Along with the wanting to stalland rough idlepart, I have smelled a gasoline odor
I work on cars when I have tobut it takes me a long time to trouble shoot with my limited skills in this area. I was just wondering if anybody esle out there has had this problem and if you knowwhere I should begin to look to resolve the issue.
History of car is:
Had for 6 months and only did tune up, a few oil changes, and the PSP switch. Only had the psp-switch code. I reset it today.
Thanks for your input

hmmm...check the egr valve.... that can cause the car to idle bad, even shut off...but shaking you in your seat.....could be bad motor mounts[&:]i could be wrong though....[&:]

Yes I do think I do have a bad motor mount also. That and the rough idle is what makes the car shake a bit. Does the small amount of gas odor give any clues, So I do have to tear into every part. I have been searching the forums and It seems like the problem could be so many things. I could spend $100 of dollars replacing parst before I actually get to the problem.
