Default RE: Hooker Headers Mufflers?

These mufflers give you the mellow rumble you like, plus they make more horsepower than a straight pipe! Their patented flow directors and large diameter internal tubes channel exhaust flow and eliminate turbulence. The fiberglass matting delivers a mellow, true performance sound. The all-aluminized construction keeps your Super Turbo looking and working good for a long time. Each Dodge mufflers are either double wrapped or arc-welded (depending on application) for longer life. All universal mufflers flow in any direction (unless stated) to fit almost any custom application. About the turbo mufflers thing, it is not necessarily a high performance muffler... This term came from the word turbine which as we all know can do a really good job in silencing and because of this good image most aftermatket manufacturers had taken advantage of it and branded their products with the term "turbo" to drum up their goods. Hope this information clear something out some of your misconception about turbo mufflers...
