You'll need an adapter to get the Auto Meter sending unit to fit, it's too small and needs a larger adapter, you can get them at Auto Zone. I simply replaced my stock sending unit with the one that came with my Auto Meter gauge and it works great with no annoying oil light coming on.

wow...thats basically what i just said

the sender is on the back of the block down by the bottom....
if you look up from underneath your car, you should see a brace that bolts from the motor to the tranny.....the sensor is right next to that brace.....it has a green plug on it with i believe just one wire

ok guys maybe ime a little bit dumb here but are you talking about the sensor near the oil filter because i thought that was the crank sensor, i'me looking to put a mechanical gauge on my 95 sohc (standard tranny) but have limited time and its really cold and snowy in nb canada. a really detailed explnation of where this sensor is would be greatly appreciated. (need mechanical gauge to verify oil presure as i just dropped in motor and dummy light is coming on) I have the mechanical gauge and i know that curb idle pressure is 4 PSI and driving is 25-80 PSI
